Introduction to Common Light | February 4

Transform your understanding of leadership and personal growth through this immersive four-week journey covering the basics of contemplative collaboration. Each week, you'll join interactive Zoom sessions that explore how to work with and for your purpose and others—learning to shift from scarcity to abundance, anxiety to presence, and misalignment to understanding. This course combines hands-on exercises with practical techniques, empowering you to foster flourishing both in yourself and those around you.

What We Cover
  • Observation Techniques: Strengthen your attention and deepen your appreciation of nature through the careful observation of natural phenomena.
  • The 8 Evolving Elements of Contemplative Collaboration: This living framework helps individuals and teams develop fundamental skills for collaboration. Our primary focus will be on Observation of Nature, Purpose, Abundance, and Contemplation.
  • Butterfly "Flit" Technologies: 'Float like a butterfly' and learn to guide subtle yet powerful shifts—from scarcity to abundance, anxiety to presence, and misalignment to understanding—both in yourself and those you collaborate with.
  • Contemplative Practices: Cultivate reflection practice that turns experience into insight, supporting your continued growth.
Your Facilitator

Michael Draskovic is a social practitioner and strategist with a wealth of experience working with philanthropists, public officials and advocates, artists and talent, technologists, and corporate leaders. As Founder and Lead Facilitator of Common Light, Michael brings fifteen years of experience working across private, public, and nonprofit sectors.

Format & Logistics

Each session will involve a series of experiential exercises, small breakouts, and group discussions. Q&A will also be available at the end of each session. The dates and timing for the sessions are:

As a participant, I commit to:

  • Being open to exploring new ideas and perspectives, including those that differ from my own
  • Coming prepared and on time for the full session, maintaining camera presence, and finding a quiet space where I can think, speak, and move comfortably
  • Sharing my in-session observations and reflections as openly as I can, and following through on between-session commitments
  • Taking full responsibility for my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being throughout the event. Should any emergencies arise, I will take responsibility for seeking professional medical or psychological support if needed, understanding that this is not a therapy service.

  • Providing an engaging, constructive space for your exploration and growth
  • Maintaining complete confidentiality, no sessions are ever recorded
  • Being fully present and attentive during our sessions
